David-Alexandre Trégouët

David-Alexandre Trégouët, INSERM Director of Research, is team leader of the "Genomics and Pathophysiology of Cardiovascular Diseases" group at the UMR_S 1166 at the Pitié-Salpêtrière.

Mathematician by training, David-Alexandre Trégouët devotes part his activity to the development of statistical methodologies and research strategies to identify genetic and epigenetic risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

He gained experience in bioinformatics analysis of large scale genomic data and coordinates research projects based on DNA/RNA microarray technologies ("GWAS", "GWES", "MWAS") and high throughput sequencing ("whole-exome", "miR-Seq", "Chip-Seq").
