The Genomics and Pathophysiology of Cardiovascular Diseases group of the UMR_S-1166 focuses its research on :
- the identification of new genes and genetic variants associated with susceptibility to cardiovascular disease, whether rare or common,
- the characterization of their functional roles at the molecular and cellular levels,
- the discovery of new pathophysiological mechanisms to achieve better therapeutic care of patients.
